Limited Purpose Health FSA
Overview
Employers who already offer an HSA can provide additional saving opportunities for employees through a Limited Purpose Health FSA. This type of FSA is restricted to dental and vision expenses and is “limited” to what is reimbursable. Because employees cannot participate in an HSA and a general purpose FSA at the same time, a Limited Purpose Health FSA gives employees the chance to participate in both accounts.
