Leveraging his many years of experience as a management consultant, Nick provides leadership and guidance across the organization related to enterprise-level initiatives, operational best practices supporting both front and back office functions, information technology governance and controls, enterprise risk management, and privacy and security compliance.
Prior to P&A Group, Nick served as managing principal of Focal Point Data Risk’s Boston office. Focal Point Data Risk is a risk management consulting firm that focuses on cyber security, identity governance and access management, data privacy and analytics, internal audit, and Service Organization Control (”SOC”) Reporting
services through its subsidiary, Sunera CPAs & Associates.
As the managing principal of Focal Point’s Boston office, Nick was responsible for leading the firm’s professional services efforts throughout New England. While leading a team of experienced audit, risk, and compliance professionals, Nick is heavily involved in all aspects of Focal Point’s client engagements, including business development, project management, delivery, and client relationship management. Nick’s team performs various engagements for Focal Point’s clients, including: Internal Audit outsourcing and co-sourcing projects; SOC 1/SOC 2 reporting engagements; financial and technology risk assessments; Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits; and infrastructure and ERP audits.
Nick is a member of the Information Security Audit and Control Association and the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP). He has degrees in Operations & Strategic Management and Philosophy from Boston College.
