Scope/Impact
The File Integration Specialist for Reimbursement Account Services is responsible for implementation of all electronic data file feeds for both new and current clients. Effective performance of the duties and responsibilities of the position will assure both the effective and successful implementation and ongoing plan administration as it relates to electronic file interfacing for the client, the plan participants and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinates file implementation tasks, creating and maintaining integration documentation, client specific processing notes, and ensure files are implemented within our internal systems accurately.
- Assist clients, brokers, and vendors with understanding P&A’s file specifications, the purposes of each type of file feed, and the data requirements for establishing file feeds. Coordinate and conduct file integration testing ensuring data is received accurately, maintaining timelines and ensuring milestones are met.
- Document test results, identify issues or discrepancies, and work collaboratively with clients, brokers, vendors and internal teams via phone and email to resolve them in alignment with department standards (typically within one business day).
- Work cross functionally with implementation and client support teams to support a seamless client onboarding experience.
- Provide ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting support to new and existing clients with file errors as needed.
- Post files in order of receipt as per departmental procedures escalating to direct supervisor or department manager.
- Escalate issues to direct supervisor or department manager when files cannot be posted in accordance with departmental procedures or require special handling.
- Perform all phases of reconciliation in accordance with file specifications, and departmental procedures.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established department procedures.
- Keep both the supervisor and department manager fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and escalate when necessary.
