File Processing Specialist – COBRA

Scope/Impact

The File Processing Specialist will be responsible for performing data file processing of COBRA and Premium Billing accounts. The File Processing Specialist will ensure files are received and processed accurately and timely and will communicate file format or data integrity issues.

Key Responsibilities

Respond and resolve file feed problems with client, broker, sales associate, provider representatives
Participate in maintenance responsibilities, such as production monitoring, file maintenance, and tracing where files are in the lifecycle
Manage file, email and phone requests within Performance Guarantees and standard operating procedures
Process various types of file layouts in internal systems for client or internal needs
Continuously work with existing clients in updating or correcting file feeds
Perform file imports and reconcile results to assure accuracy

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
One + year of experience in an office setting
Must be proficient in Excel
Must be able to analyze, interpret, evaluate, and apply decisions
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers
Ability to effectively interact, present information, and respond to questions from customers, colleagues, and management
Strong attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Solid oral and written communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines
