Title: COBRA Benefits Administrator
Department: Group Insurance Department
Status: Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Administering group life, health insurance, DBL, COBRA, dental benefits
  • Verify monthly premium invoicing
  • Record maintenance
  • Resolve administrative problems with clients and provider representatives
  • Perform all phases of recordkeeping procedures and maintain databases, along with billing

Requirements

  • Excellent math skills and enjoys working with numbers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Detail oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of COBRA regulations and ARRA with the understanding and the ability to communicate with clients
  • Experience using an HRIS system and prior insurance carrier knowledge is a plus
